Filter oil specially developed for K&N cotton filters. This oil turns the cotton a light red color, making the oiled parts recognizable. Instructions for oiling are printed on the packaging.
How often should the K&N filter be cleaned?
K&N air filters are high-quality filters, both in terms of airflow and filter performance. Maintenance intervals depend greatly on the application. A rallycross filter might need to be cleaned every 150 km, while a passenger car filter might only need to be cleaned after 200,000 km. A K&N filter should be cleaned at the latest when a 2-3 mm layer of dirt has accumulated.
Placement of the filter
After the filter has been installed, it should be checked again whether the filter seals properly and, for example, does not draw in any false air.
Never use gasoline, paraffin, thinners, etc. Do not pressure-clean the air filter. Use only K&N filter oil, as regular lubricating oil damages the cotton and restricts airflow.
Excessive oiling
After cleaning the filter, be careful not to over-oil it. Always apply a small amount of oil to the filter and let it soak in. If there are still areas that aren't red, re-oil only those areas.
Too much oil will obstruct the airflow. Ensure the filter doesn't drip during installation, as this can cause filter oil to enter the air intake system. Follow the instructions on the packaging.

Shipping methods
When choosing the right shipping method for your order, we always consider various factors such as volume, weight, and delivery address. Based on these criteria, we can offer the most suitable shipping options:
- Standard package delivery : Delivery usually within 1-2 working days after order dispatch (NL, BE (+1), DE(+2), LU(+2).
- Large Volume Delivery : Delivery usually within 1-3 business days after order is dispatched (NL, BE(+1), DE(+2), LU(+3).
- Local delivery: Delivery usually takes 2-48 hours after order dispatch. This often applies to deliveries within a radius of approximately 30 km. When this shipping method is available, it will automatically be available as an additional option during checkout.
- Exclusive Delivery: Delivery is usually within 12-72 hours after order dispatch. Exclusive delivery is only available for an additional fee (available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany & Luxembourg).
We deliver standard packages throughout Europe. Large-volume deliveries outside the Benelux and Germany are only possible upon request.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, volume, and destination of the products being shipped. The exact shipping costs will be displayed during checkout before you place your order.

Processing and Delivery Times
The delivery time of the order depends on the items ordered and the current available stock in our own warehouses or partner warehouses.
On the product page, you can see live whether the product is in stock at our main warehouse WH1 in Zwaag ( WH1 Zwaag ). If so, we have the product available for immediate shipping, collection, or installation.
Our additional warehouses WH2 , WH3 , WHP1 & WHP2 are not displayed directly on the product page. If the product is in stock there, it is usually available within 1 to 2 business days. The standard delivery time is often shown as 3-5 business days on the product page.
- All orders will be processed within a maximum of 24 hours and shipped within a maximum of 2 business days, unless otherwise stated with the product offered.
- Exact delivery time varies and depends on the available shipping method and the final destination of the order.
- Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with track & trace information, if available.
